Dr. Shubhamangala Acharya has been an Ayurveda practitioner since 1999. She comes from an Ayurvedic family background and studied B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) at the SDM College of Ayurveda, Hassan. She has immersed herself in the field of Ayurveda for the past 20+ years. She was located in San Jose, California, US, where she practiced Ayurveda from home after her marriage for 4 years. For the past 15+ years, she has been treating patients and has her own Panchakarma centre setup in Uttarahalli area of Bengaluru. Her clinic is recognized as a Garbha Sanskara Kendra that provides consultancy for healthy progeny. She has done her Yoga instructor course from SVYASA Bangalore. She is an active member of Kutumba prabodhan Bangalore Vibhaga, a part of RSS. She presented
a paper on ‘Rasaoushadi during pregnancy complications’ at Rasashasthra Sambhasha, a conference in Sri Lanka. Dr Shubhamangala Acharya is the coordinator of Lokayurved Karnataka where she was Initially promoting healthy living and Gow Vigyan in Karnataka. Patients from around 15 countries including Japan, Columbia, USA, are taking treatment from her She has been writing Health and lifestyle-related articles in leading Kannada Newspapers and magazines like Taranga, Sudha, Tushara, Hosadigantha, Agnivesha etc.
Since 1998. She has also published several articles in the international online magazine, Hinduism Now. She was a health advisor in the popular cookery show, Paakashaale, aired on Star Suvarna (TV channel). She has also participated as an expert health adviser in panel discussions on TV channels like TV9, Suvarna and Sri Shankara Vahini. She has also given several talks about Ayurvedic lifestyles in schools and NGO’s around Bengaluru. She is the former President of an NGO called the Agnivesha Ayurveda Anushthana, where multiple Ayurvedic doctors come together on a single dais to help the society attain a healthier living. In 2020, she started promoting dry ginger therapy for prevention of Covid 19 which was conceptualised by Vd. Hitesh Janiji.
She has presented a scientific paper of dry ginger study done in Gujarat to CAR (Clinical Ayurveda Research) webinar held in Boston USA.
